I like what I hear.

The boost side seems to excite the harmonics and make it all bitey and stuff. Nice. The other side sounds better at doing the gnarly rhythm thing.

It also sounds pretty big huh.

haha it sounds good....funny that vai would want to capture his signature sound in a pedal when he has a whole rack of expensive custom preamps and a modded carvin legacy....

i guess its just sales strategy and branding.......

I have the pedal. U can get the vai sound with the settings given on the manual. The left side is actually the TS sound while the right is his distortion sound. Its a pretty cool pedal really.

hes not even using his legacys, theyre on standby. check out the bogner xtc preamp sneakily hiding above the two heads.
