Jazz/fusion Bass noob. HELP needed

hey guys, i'm picking up jazz and smooth jazz bass. man that stuff is hard. any ideas where i can find free tutorials on this? maybe get some blues scales going as well to beef up the music.

any pro jazz bassists giving lessons? pref private tutors. thanks!

Yup , you need to know your scales and chord structures at the back of your head.

go get a good book! there's a pretty good bookshop inside of sweelee called tempest music. some of the titles they've brought in might cater to your needs.
