Firstly, let me say, congratulations to all the fans of Jay “I sure am more popular than that Da Abang” Chou. You have single-handedly, or rather, a few thousand-handedly made Jay Chou the fastest selling artiste in Singapore’s concert history.
TWO HOURS. That’s all it took for his first show to sell out. Back in the 1990s when my band released our first album, it took only two hours to sell our first copy! And two hours and 12 minutes for the guy to return it, saying, “Oh, I thought it was another AWOL band.” (Whatevs, dude.)
But yes, Chou fans, that means there’ll be another show added on July 23. Tickets go on sale on April 22 from Sistic at 9am. Do what you have to do.
