Great feel, great playing! Is he going through a JC120?

A little off topic, but I saw Smokey by accident on the harp some years ago, was totally blown away. He did a very short set but was really breathtaking -- stole the thunder from all the other musicians that night!

Sima was playing through a Twin Reverb. I think he had a couple of OD pedals too.

It was many years ago, in Old Parliament House.. I can't remember the event, but I think you were playing through a small old tube amp? I was really impressed..

Do you guys have a regular slot somewhere?

Ok, I think it was part of the vintage guitar show, right?

We are not playing anyway regularly now, although I jam at Crazy Elephant on Sunday nights sometimes. I am the jam host next Sunday (11 Oct), so come down and jam if you want. Starts at 10pm. This is with the Crazy Elephant house band.

With my own band Skunk Jive, our next confirmed gig is in the next Mosaic Festival in March 2010. Our slot is on the 13 March. More details closer to the date.

Latest update: We will be the new duo and band act at Harry's @ The Esplanade from 3 December 2009 onwards. Every Thursday (duo) and Friday (band) from 9.30pm onwards. Sima will be the guitarist on both nights.
