I am wondering whther i shld get the JS-20 or the ibanez GAX70? can u guys gimme some advice?

im all ibanez! hahax...for their floyd rose bridge...

err...jackson i tink swee lee sims avenue haf....

saw it last time..which waz june 2004 -.-"

definitely jackson for me...if u looking for a rock axe which isn't too common..., fiercer, yet solid as a rock

ibanez, u can see them anywhere... throw a stone into a street filled wif guitarists n u get a high chance of hearing an ibanez owner swearing.

I love both Jackson & Ibanez.....

The RG series were flawless & the Jackson Randy Rhoads signature looks tasty....

I like the JS20 more than GAX70.

Go for the Jackson... it has a flame maple veneer and I think sound wise it beats GAX70. If u want SG body... go for epiphone G-400...

The JS20 is more versatile cos it has a SSH configuration but tone wise the Gax 70 has more control...

Go try them out... it is a matter of "touch"... hehe

there isn't one particular brand name that is righteously better than the other. it's all a matter of preferences.

the GAX-70 is a discontinued model, the ones you see in the stores are left-overs. having owned the GAX-70, i must say that it's a very good starter, a simple guitar which sounds decent for the money. the GAX-70 is one of 2 Gio series Ibanez i am fond of (the other being the GSZ-120).

Amen. When will people ever realize this?

I like Fernandez Monterey Elites. JB in bridge (though i'd probably change it to a PAF Pro) and Fernandes Sustainer in neck. awesome for metal. i'd get one.

if you're looking for an entry level one, a Fernandes Monterey X would work.

17wil have u tried both guitar?
apart from looks and tone consider its neck "feel" too
BTW do u intent to change the pu later?
