Jackson Guitars

I was checking the Jackson page to see if there are other distributors for this brand. While doing so, I encountered this:

新加坡? No wonder Jackson guitars are not doing so well here. People who don't understand mandarin would have no idea that Singapore has a distributor for Jackson.

btw, this guitar is ultimate GAS. however the price of $8,999.99USD is not friendly at all.

@ShredAddict The Swee Lee showroom at Bra Basah stocks the RR relic. Looks godlike but the pickup selector on the top side is argh...

Check out these LP oriented Jackson Custom shops. Damn classy.

any idea why the selector is on the top side? there must be some reason for it to be there. maybe it's for some kill switch action.

those Jacksons look great. damn that's some good photography.

I think Randy wanted the Concorde to be a direct copy of his Les Paul (with the exception of the shape of course) That's why the layout and everything is just like a Les Paul.

got a Jackson recently. this one had been in the stores for quite some time, maybe it was avoided due to its colour.

i love jackson guitars. they're the only guitars i use mainly now.
i started out from the performer series KE, and then got myself a low budget KV. Then later on acquiring a RR3.
All my jackson are MIJ which is great and i bought them all at good prices. Quality is up there too even for my low budget KV. fast necks solid build. All of them have duncans in them now which really spices up the guitar's characters.
So far my 3 jacksons never failed me. Til this day after trying most brands of guitars, my preference will always be jackson.
However i did try a Vigier which blew my mind away.... thats just something i gotta have if i can afford it. But for mainstream brands, jackson is the way to go for me.

however it is pretty over-priced in singapore. kinda sad... if you have a chance, get ur jacksons from the US if u ever go there. way way cheaper, even when they exchange rate was high back then. haha. i got all mine from there.

I've yet to swap the pickups out of a Jackson before. I always felt their single coil pickups had a very nice bite to them. most importantly, they are not muddy.
