After a 10-year long hiatus, Singaporean Jazz singer Jacintha is finally back with yet another exceptional album <Fire & Rain>! The long-awaited album was recently released into the markets of America, Europe and Asia, leading to a huge stir-up and interest amongst the audiophile community prompting multiple audio shows to be scheduled in many countries such as Kuala Lumpur and Manila.

The album’s concept was inspired by one of Jacintha’s favourite singer, the legendary folk-pop artist James Taylor. <Fire & Rain> was supported by a core group of LA-based musicians who has played for James Taylor. These includes Dean Parks, Leland Sklar, Russ Kunkel and Jim Cox, as well as guitarist and arranger, Tim Price, and violinist Charlie Bisharat. Together with top-notch musical backing, Jacintha worked with Grammy nominated LA-based veteran engineer, Michael C Ross to produce and record an outstanding set of beautiful tunes.

Internationally, this album attained remarkable success in the recently concluded German High End Audio Show held in Munich. <Fire & Rain> was also awarded CD of the Month for May by a German Audiophile magazine, Audio.

Tracks included are Fire and Rain, Walking Man, Don’t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight, Long Ago and Far Away as well as You’ve Got a Friend.

Cross Ratio Entertainment is honoured to partner with Groove Note Records USA as the official label partner in Singapore to release this album into the local market. Locally, this album has received tremendous support from most vinyl shops in Singapore.

With this comeback album, Jacintha hopes to enjoy continued success for the days to come!
