ISP Decimator Noise Reduction?

guitar 77 says they don't ''do'' that pedal anymore...

is there any other place that sells this pedal? and where is g77 now anyway?

ah anyways, this pedal is kinda ex...and, are there any good noise gate pedals that won't affect my amps sound at all? of course, it must get rid of the fuzz and noises...preferbly something cheap :)

u can try the boss ns-2, the way the ns2 and isp works are really diff,
btw, if ur looking to remove feedback, it wont really help, it just helps to remove hum, and it will definitely affect ur tone, just think about it, i have a isp myself, and i just use it to remove abit of hum only , not enough to affect the tone..
a better idea would be to try playing with lesser gain

i kinda get some kind of..buzzing sound...i have got only two pedals, a SM7 and a bad monkey...if i place the line up like this Guitar - Bad monkey - SM7 - amp, i get a lot of stastic-like sound...when i place my hands on the strings to mute 'em, i get that static sound...like when you turn your computer speakers to max volume with nothing playing...

if i tweak the line up, like Guitar - SM7 - Bad monkey - amp, i get only a tiny bit...probably from the bad monkey...

do your bad monkey pedals produce the slight static sounds too? mine produces them quite obviously when gain is all the way up...

is this the kind of noise the noise gates get rid off?

hey, u must understand that technology hasnt reached a level that it can just magically remove noise, maybe i havent heard of it, but the noise suppressor isnt just suppose to remove the noise.. for example, the sound is really noisy with all the hum and noise and if u cant even hear ur guitar properly, the noise suppressor isnt gonna help, it is mostly used for slightly high gain pedals that give abit of hum if pushed to hard, and the noise suppressor just removes that bit of hum..

anyway, i cant really tell whether where the noise is coming from, it might be grounding problem from ur guitar, amp, cables, pedals, anyway, just a tip, do not force ur gain beyond 12oclock, and if u plan to get a isp, also do not push it beyond 12, cause after that point the drop in volume and tone is noticable.. haha, isp isnt really a helpful pedal la.. try ur pedals one by one and see which one emits the most noise..

btw u said u had to place ur hands on the strings to mute the static? most likely ur guitar's grounding is not done properly or something happened to it, i had that on my custom strat, i resoldered the grounding wire and the stupid static is gone..

hope this helps

^ not to mute the static..i can't do that...the static comes about when i mute the strings, the notes...

and my gain is maxed..haha...

err,i use the clean channel on my amp and crank the sm7 all the way to full gain..i can see why theres noise now..haha
