Hi!

I guess the best way is to send detailed pics of this guitar to Gibson. (i.e back of the pickups, the truss-rod access are (w/o the cover), the tone/vol pots, the control cavity area, etc.) Its difficult to say if this is the real deal or not. Sometimes the parts might have deteriorate ages ago, and the original owner might have changed them, thus the "ugly" looking parts. And Gibson keeps changing their logo.

But anw, when you play your first few notes on this guitar and it sounds good/plays well, who cares if its real or not, or if its American/Jap/Korea/China made. What matters is you own it... I'll gladly take it away from you if you have no use for it though!
