I grew up in U.K.; When people mimic a Chinese accent back then, most of the time it was some kind of racial slur going on. Definitely offensive and quite upsetting for a small boy.
I dunno man, I think it's fine, like we try to talk like malays sometimes, yo brudder, relek ah, you know, or some guys go around trying to do the stupid honkie accent, I think it's funny man, but everytime I do the indian accent at the wrong place, like on bus 66, my friend will smack me. I find the indian accent cool and humourous man.
I thought if they mimic Chinese humans, we'd flood their market with cheap imitation goods and substandard products, causing the Martian market to fail and inflation to occur.
