Is it an offence to perfom in the streets?

you guys ever noticed a busker along the main orcahrd road? he palys guitar and then has some kinda thing on his foot so as he taps his foot the instrument makes a "clock" sound and he has a harmonica too..all at the same time...o and yeah he ony has 1 arm..damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i mean his fretting hand is ok...but his picking hand is amputated up till the elbow. sad man.

but i really admire his talent..btw hes an ang mor. surely u must have seen him.

There is an Eurasian busker who also play on acoustic guitar and bring his 6 years old son along and busk at Buona Vista MRT underpass and Wheelock Place underpass. He has a good voice though he is not so good on his guitar.

i know which guy u're talking abt...i live ard tt area..he plays some good beegees stuffs

I've seen him near Tampines interchange. So entertaining. The guy who plays guitar/saxaphone near tampines mrt is cool as well. Oh yah, he also sings.

Some I would look upon as incredibly worthy of respect, like that blind jazz shredder who would play near the taxi stand at Centrepoint, but he's also disappeared to God-knows-where :?

Jazz shredder? I can figure out what he's playing is jazz...but I don't think that's shredding?

hmm interesting thread. talking about buskers I miss the ah pek playing the harmonica and marching while juggling balls with one hand.

the lame one would be I saw this weird angmoh guy who's dressed up as some kinda priest, with a cheap drum-kick pedal stepping on at every minute to wack a chinese "gong" on the floor. waiting for money to roll into his bucket....

The Ah Pek at Tampines MRT plays the Er-Hu and sings although he seems like "Bo Geh" but it matches his Er-Hu well. He is one of my fave buskers. Haha. Maybe one day can ask all the buskers to jam together and see what new genre will come out.

there was one japanese busker i saw at tampines mrt the other day during the asian beats semis.

didge, bells on his feet and other percussive paraphernalia..

spiritually uplifting
