Sorry for the late reply bro.
Well i would like to correction my word for japan everyone knows metal bands are the playground for them of couse we could name all the major acts once perfomed now and then.
But you see the yen still going strong and the metal popularity there is huge
Talking abt world slavery tour in thailand maybe might taken place?
But let me tell you when you was a little boy just beside our nighbour kuala lumpur malaysia during 79-82 they had bring ian gillan band, uriah heep and scorpions there was some of our sporeans went there to catch these shows.
As for spore those times long hair n rock band from west was banned!
Anyway thats the planet of the 70's and 80's.
In the mid 80's the first band i watch was loudness at sentosa water fountain it was jam pack 2 day event so after then the rules was relaxed.
But things are very different now the showbiz gigs climates had changed now its like a huge gamble for sponsors to bring maiden just like michael jackson all these shows are highly payed only unless if they do a show for the sake of fans here if you don't belive see maidens web site for thier next production for world tour as bruce said we wanna make peoples jaw dropped at our new tour.
Meantime maybe we could think of paul dianno's band and relive the classic maiden moments and at the moment only time will tell.
Qwhy its so expensive could you do a simple show?
A Because its the first far east tour and we must bring our full gear with our very own theaterical sets.
hmmm, my bullshit detector is going off. is Japan not considered a part of the "Far East" then? they always play in Japan. heck they're even playing there on the 25th-31st of this month!! so their "full gear" is already gonna be in this region. i've been bugging Laurrieta all year to bring them here after Japan but they wanted a rest before continuing on their European leg.
and even if you meant SOUTH-EAST Asia, they played in Thailand on the Live After Death tour in 1986. yes, Thailand. so close yet so far... and i was too young! anyway the point is it's not their first time in Asia.
