IRON COBRA DOUBLE PEDALS

hello. i have a double bass set-up at home. 2 bass drums. im thinking of getting the iron cobra double pedals so that i can use them for gigs. but i was wondeing if they can also be used as single pedals? which means can i detach the left beater and attach it to the left pedal? so that i can use it as 2 single pedals at home? does anybody know?

Well I dont think the Iron Cobra Twin can be turned to singles right out of the box. You can order the parts such as the clamp and extra beater holder and there are some webpages which show you what parts to buy and how to convert the pedal into singles.

DW and Yamaha Flying Dragons can be converted into two singles right out of the box, as well as a few other pedals as well such as my cheap @ss maxtones Just insert the beater and spring to the slave.

I wanted to get a Pearl Eliminator which also needs extra aprts to be made into singles, but you can convert a single into a double with their expansion kit and then make them into two singles as well. Thats what also made the Axis pedals shine.

NO! DW cannot... the left pedal doesn't have a tension spring...

so lets say i order the parts and do spilt them up. does that mean that everytime i want to use them as double pedals, i have to go about reconfiguring the whole thing and setting up all over again?
