I am a drummer looking to form a Chinese ritualistic black metal band.
The concept is heavily inspired by the 10 Courts of Hell. Think traditional ceremonial rites meets atmospheric black metal. We aren't just playing songs; we are performing a judgment ritual.
I want to incorporate chanting of sutras and mantras, as well as instruments like erhu, guzheng, Chinese opera percussion to create a distinct sonic identity.
