Intending to ship an ENGL Screamer E330 from US

Hey there,

Anyone know of a good deal around the web? I'm currently looking at guitarasylum.com, an authorised dealer in the US for ENGL products.

At guitarasylum, the amp costs USD$1399.99 and the footswitch I want to get with it, a Z-5, costs USD$299.99. Shipping via UPS w/ insurance would be USD$375. Total: USD$2039.99 (including bank wire fee)

That's around SGD$2,939.93.

I would appreciate it if someone can offer information on better deals for the Screamer or any other similar amps etc.

I'm looking for an all-tube combo with very high gain and good cleans as well. Budget is around SGD$3k.

You might want to consider Marshall JVM410H/C. Can bring you from clean to high gain. 4 channels with 3 modes each. If I'm not wrong,Davis is selling at 2k sgd. Great deal for a tube amp with great versatility.

IF your looking for the ENGL tone its pointless looking else where i would think. Price wise 3k is pretty much expected. And i am sure Mesa/Boogies are out of your interest too. But if your looking for other choices which compares well with ENGL. I would Look at Framus.

Still up an ENGL they can be found at Blackwood I do believe. As well as other options of amps. VHTs can be found at Davies too but I believe they are the new versions without the founder Steven Fryette as head of the company.

Nice info guys. I didn't know Blackwood was stocking in the screamer, thanks Breen! I'm gonna look into it.

I've already considered the JVM, but the gain is not really comparable and the cleans on the screamer just sound better to me. Thanks anyway, great help.
