installment in local shops

It will be great if local music shops have installment system for purchases with major credit cards, just like other electronic stores. I think it is beneficial to both buyers and dealers. For those who does not have credit card, steal one from your dad and just buy whatever you want

I'll be careful about installments though. Sometimes get carried away, end up hip deep in debt. Plus all that interest...killer...Much rather go the hard way of saving up and wait for sales to happen.

Interest free for 12 months, just like other electronic stuffs or expensive watches etc.
This should even apply for sale events

I agree with Scream_ed, even with interest-free installments, chances are you might get more than one item?

so best thing is not to have installment system at all???

If they have one, we can use it when we want to. You don't have to use it all the time.

I don't know man, some one enquired and said on the G4C forums that you would have to pay list price if you use the installment plan, rather than getting the *discount* if you paid on the spot.

yeah I asked them before. They have one but not with credit cards. Need to apply installment loan from bank/financial institution and wait for approval etc. sound like a lot of paper work. If we can use credit card, that is very convenient as it’s just a single swipe.

That mean a at least 20% interest so to speak if u buy from swee lee installment, not including the finance company's interest... Cuz list price is abt 20% more
