i suppose indie started as unsigned bands that didn't sign with a label.

then.. it sort of became the style of music and trend that it is now.

but if we're having so many problems defining a genre of what is indie, then indie is rock, pop, jazz, metal.. whatever, nobody knows, nobody should care.

and so my dear hundersworld, the very rock you enjoy could be independent rock as well..

so whatever definition of indie we have here, but it doesn't really matter, i like

most likely the latter. too many people seem to have forgotten that indie originally and still should mean independent.
