I'm in love with THD Flexi 50

....with the THD Flexi 50!!!! :P Have played it twice already the 2nd time at TAGS n with the THD 2x12 cab it really rocks! With the boost and master volume on it was producing the sweetest, fatest crunch sound i have ever heard 8O I cant stop thinking about that amp.....i've been reading the websites n flyers for days n nights on end....heck its the wallpaper on my bloody hp! I think i may have found my amp :twisted:

PS: I think the G&L strat may have something to do with that awesome tone, i wonder how its sounds like with my RG3120 n DS-1 ultra :wink:
 
MTL.. mai tu liao.. contact mark and bring your axe down to his place to try it then.. i would say a good amp matters the most.. more than effects n guitars.. by miles..
 
I have the THD 2x12 cab with my univalve and I think it was a great choice. I can only imagine with the Flexi 50. I got it through JMguitars and Mark was great to deal with.

Goodluck and like the man said; "Don't sit on it any longer", you will not look back.
 
According to this flyer i got from mark its $2900 but this is an old flyer.....dunnoe bout the cab tho...should ask damo

BTW I bought the univalve head first and then spent a few months looking for a decent cab and I couldn't find any. I then ordered the THD cab from Mark. I don't know why it is so hard to find good cab options here.

Nice to hear you enjoyed playing the Flexi. Its my personal fav too for those vintage crunch tones as well.

My pricing is as follows:
THD Flexi 50 - SGD 2,700
THD Cab 2x12 - SGD 1,200 (unfortunately, its a bomb to ship hence would love to give a better price but this gets as good as it gets)

Actually, only the neck is a G&L original. The Alder body is purchased from Prasit who runs NNG Guitars in Thailand. The PUs are the Kinman graduated set (when I used to sell Kinmans) and the bridge is a Hipshot fixed bridge.

I'm searching for my first tube amp and somehow listening to all the clips on the forums (local and US), I keep on wanting to get a Univalve for my first tube amp. IMO, the THD cab is excellent. I feel there are no 2x12 cabs better than that and available locally.
 
Go for it man....you won't regret it :D And i'm definitely tempted to try the amp with my guitar n DS-1 ultra..... :twisted: have to make some time free next week 8)
 
Hi guys,

Just like to revive this older tread for those who are interested in getting tone machines (THD) from JMguitars.

I have with me a rare 70's Marshall 2 X 12" Cabinet rated for amps up to 50watts. So from the univalve to the Flexi 50 potential buyers, this is one cabinet NOT to be missed.

Condition of the speakers seem to be very good, fitted with the classic Celestion Greenback G12H 30watts 15ohms Speakers (w/ 50oz ceramic magnet). This 15ohm model is only available as a reissue now, and each cost US$200 at least in the USA, so ship to SG should be about S$500 incl freight. So just the speakers already worth close to S$1K as new, but these are the original vintage ones, working good some more!!!

As you guys already know how much a cab cost already, I'd not elaborate more. This baby is only going for S$1K, one time offer. For more pics, just go to my auction sites to check out. More pics, email me for it.
