Actually.. Take a tuning fork, and hit the bridge of an ibanez guitar..

Its not about the brand that makes a guitar ideal for heavy metal. Its the tone it offers and the appearance.
There are vast differences between the Ibanez V-blade and the Ibanez Jetking. Generally guitars made to play metal have humbucking pickups, thin necks and usually sharp and aggressive-looking body and headstock shapes.
But its mostly about your E.Q. settings.
With the right rig, my Ibanez GSA60 can pretty much play anything from blues all the way to metal.
