This is the Ibanez SA260FM.
List : $870
In all honesty, the Sabre series is very underrated, and guess what!

Herman Li uses the S series!!!!

Of all the SA ( Not S, nor the SZ) series, this particular model comes with a HSS pickup configuration, on the other SA models, it comes with the HH config which makes it more awesome to me hahaha.

Anyway lets get on with it!, BTW this is my first review, so i hope this helps.

Guitar Features:
*Taken from Ibanez's website

Neck Material: 3pc Maple
Neck Type: SA
Body: Mahogany body/ Flamed Maple top
Frets: Medium frets
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Inlay: Pearl dot inlay
Bridge: SAT Pro II bridge
NeckPU: AHS1
MiddlePU: AHS2
BridgePU: True Duo ( Coil Tapped)

Guitar Finish

It's awesome.... hahaha, can't really comment, i got mine in Amber Burst seen in the above picture, and mines REALLY more flamed than that, but what i find cool is the matching colour scheme and flame on the headstock as well

Sound

This stock pickups are honestly, aren't bad. It comes with the Ibanez Special Designed True Duo Bucker ( The bridge Humbucker ) with coil tap. It sounds REALLY good, while playing with a good amp, you'll get awesome sounds on it, very cool bright rhythm sounds. the neck PU is really warm and bluesy hehehe :).

Real good for stock PU's.

Common Misconception?

The bridge on the guitar is a floating bridge?
Yes

But it doesn't look like a Floyd Rose or an Edge Bridge... so what is it?
Well, its the Ibanez Sat Pro II bridge, which i find, is GREAT for beginners.
Its easy to restring, just put the string through the backplate, i find it easier to restring this compared to my acoustic hahaha.

You might not be able to do all those cool stuff people do on the Edge Bridges or on a Floyd Rose as well, but i find the bridge wicked!

Tuning?

Tuning wise, it doesn't have a locking nut OR locking tuners, AND, the bridge is NOT locking.

HOWEVER, this thing stays in tune really well. After i got this guitar, it wasn't really set up THAT great, and if i used it abit, my G-string would go out of tune, but with a set up, pulling it up and down ALL THE WAY and it still stays in tune :), just not all the time it would stay in tune hahahaha.

Conclusion

I find its a GREAT buy, SA's are known to be intermediate guitars but i find them extremely awesome even with the stock pickups and i simply ADORE the colour :P

Swee Lee sales are going to come soon, so get this guitar if you are deciding on a guitar thats cheap and good, with decent Stock PU's.

PLUS, its just awesome lah. Hahahahaha

Out of a 100%, i'd give it a 70%

the term 'floating' when paired to the bridge feature of a guitar, refers to how the unit is set to rest. it 'floats' when the bridge allows for both lowering & raising of pitches upon the whammy bar manipulation. hence, any whammy-able bridge (Malmsteen floats his Strat's bridge...), in this light, can be set up to float & not exclusive to a Floyd Rose model.
