Ibanez replacement parts

One of the roller saddles on my ibanez artcore broke so i wanted to get it replaced..

I checked and found the part number for the entire bridge on the ibanez website. but i can't figure out how i go about purchasing it??

anyone ordered replacement parts for their ibanez guitar before and knows how?

any pics of this accident? maybe upon seeing it, we might recommend alternatives instead of you having to resort solely on ordering ibanez parts 8-)

U may try calling Swee Lee service center and enquire. I got my spare 5 way switches from them.

Can also try Rich at www.ibanezrules.com.

As Sub mentioned, alternatives might be a better or/and cheaper option.

Rich's parts are pretty expensive. always check prices on ebay first. fingers crossed that your part is available there.

appreciate the help guys!

basically the screw that allows you to adjust the saddle broke into half. so the saddle is no longer held in the bridge. it just sits there held down by the string..

originally thought i could just take out the screw and find a replacement screw.. but the screw is completely stuck..

wouldn't mind getting from ebay but its a risk cause theres no way to guarantee that it will fit right..

checked out ibanezrules but think they dont have the part i need also

emailed sweelee already.. will prob give them a call later..

any other ideas?

Bring it to Guitar Workshop or Kelvin to have the screw removed. Might have to drill through the screw if it's exactly like i imagined. Post the pics.

let me guess, measurement: string spacing abt 10.4mm?
center stud to stud 73.5mm, end stud to stud is abt 84.5mm? yes/no?

won't that destroy the screw threads on the saddle? the screw head is the part that broke off.. so can't take it out the conventional way..

would be easier if i just post the pictures right haha

but can't at the moment cause im in camp now.. will do the pictures and measurements asap

not only that, excluding parts(not guaranteed they haveit) + shop service charge.. etc.
best bet is you're better off getting a new set of replacement bridge, go ahead measure see if it fits

;)

Finally managed to get some pictures

Can see that the screw head broke off on the first one

Can try sawing off the left side (in pic) of the screw, smooth out the burrs and rough edges of the cut and extract from the right hand side with pliers. Oh, and screw it in a little more so that the ruined threads are totally removed when you saw the left side off.

Just a suggestion. =)
