Ovations? Hmmmm i wouldn't go for those unless you're going to be plugging your guitar in very very often, much more so than if you're going to play without amplification. Why? They sound extremely thin and to me, rather bare unplugged. Plus the body shape is rather uncomfortable and for me i don't like the idea of paying so much for something made mostly out of plastic, even if it is specially made to sound 'good'.
In fact, the bowl-back shape is the only beef I have with Ovations.
