hi, pls recommend some good ibanez guitars in the 700sgp range around 800 will also do. i basically play metal and rock and lots of instrumental stuff satriani, vai, lynch etc, thin neck and a tremolo is a must have, i know that the rg tremolo series comes with the edge 3 which i have heard can become unreliable in time, i have no problems in setting up trems, this is not the first time i am using floyd rose style bridges. but stuff like saddles breaking etc is just plain irritating.............

thnx in advance cheers

I think even the S320 might be a bit above the budget... Should be no problem getting one secondhand around $600 though. The S series are slightly more expensive than the others.

But yeah waiting for Swee Lee sale is recommended. Do note they might not do setups for you unless you come on another day. Happened to me when I bought my Ibby...

nah its ok i can do setups myself i have a lot of experience when do these sales take place, which time of the year im new here in Singapore and what are the deals that u get someone said 50% what does that mean and if there was such a sale what s series guitar would i get in the 700-800 range

Are you sure you have loads of experience? o_O Because it seems to be way over your head if you're asking questions that have already been answered and can be answered through just a teeny bit of Googling.

i do have experience setting guitars up and using various locking trems without any problems, the reason i created the thread is because i wanted to gauge how expensive the guitars are here in Singapore, as i said im new over here, i did google for it and went to the swee lee online store, the s320 was listed as some 900 odd sgp is it cheaper if i buy it from a shop and what is the deal with the swee lee sale what kind of offers do they have?

The Swee Lee sale is usually every 6 months or so (wasn't one this June), and it's basically a 50% off storewide (that's half off on list price, mind you). Yes it's cheaper if you go down to the shop to buy it rather than ordering it online.
