Ibanez GRG170DX VS Samick artist series

helloo guys!

I would like to know which is suitable for my type of play.
-Metal
-uses alot of the tremolo stuff
-fast shredder
-light weight guitar

I've heard that the Samick Artist Series have a FloydRose bridge.
Bt i also heard stuff from others that having a FR is difficult
to handle as for its tuning and changing of strings.

Is there any ways of overcoming those stuff so that when i buy the Samick Artist Series, I have all the solutions and support from you guys.

Fyi, i've been playing for 4 years and nw im 15 years old.
i need alot of support from you guys that is more experience than me

the guitar, being a tool for the player's idea/ capacity manifestations, should not be considered by virtue of its brand name when it comes to personal preferences. however, it's not wrong to shortlist our considerations for scrutiny. also, when it comes to metal, shred & other playing specifics, the amp plays a large role in ensuring one produces ear candy or sheer rubbish.

if you whammy excessively, it's recommended you invest in a locking whammy unit (Floyd Rose or its derivatives) as tuning stability is rather crucial. in this light, i'd say you check this guitar out:

Ibanez S320

if you think you can live with a simple guitar with lots of good working tones & great playability without costing a bomb, do consider this one:

Get the GRG170 if you're not going to be using the tremolo. My experience with tremolo-equipped low-end Ibanezes is that they can be quite unreliable at times. But once you spend a few dollars and hardtail the bridge (make it fixed-bridge) then these Gios can be excellent...

But the Smash S2 definitely should be considered too. Some people have a mindset that you can't play metal on a strat, but you can with the S2 because of the pickup configuration. So yeah, definitely consider it.

As for the Samick... They're definitely quality guitars so if you want to whammy a lot, the Samick would be recommended. Just that the Samicks are difficult to find these days...
