Hi Ibanez experts,

I wish to know your experience in using the Ibanez Edge zero 2 bridge.
With the trem stop in position, can you drop tune to D, for example, and still use do whammy bar tricks?
I use a

Thanks in advance,
Vic

Of course you can. Just that the bridge might drop into the cavity a little bit if you don't counter the tension at the springs.

Thanks Sub. Say I am in standard tuning. For the next song, I need to be in drop-D (let's say to play Bad Horsie).
At this point, I loosen the nut and drop the low E to D. I then tighten the nut with my fingers.
Will the guitar be in tune if I use the whammy for pinch harmonics aka horse effects?
Thanks!

Doesn't work like that...think of strings pulling and the tremolo springs pulling in the opposite direction. Once tuned, you have like an "equilibrium"....just like everything is balanced.
Changing the tension on one side (even if just a bit) moves the overall tuning which is why it's a biatch to setup a double locking trem. You either need 2 guitars or patience to retune. And tightening the locking nut with fingers ain't going to lock the strings enough so your tuning will go all over the place if you wham bam thank you mam!
