Ibanez AGB140- your opinion

Hi everyone 8)

own/ tried the above Artcore semi-hollow bass ? i've tested it out & have nothing but praise for it. (review in the works) finally, bass players can experience the much hyped Artcore standard of craftsmanship.

just wanna know the downside of a semi-hollow unit (if any) from the bass players here. thanks in advance.

too soft to be heard (generally) when playing in an acoustic set with 2 guitarists , much less with drums.

hmm... when it tried the bass (through various amps), it was rather loud.

i think he means it can't be used in a pure acoustic setting. needs to be amplified.

i see... i've not come across a semi which has that kinda volume level unplugged.
