wth.. i was expecting real lottery.. but it turns out to be one of those lame email lottery wins that i received almost everyday.. damn it.. it just makes up too much space of my UNREAD mails in my inbox.. hahaha

yeah I've been getting these lately too. so when ppl ask me what I do for a living I tell them "I strike global lotteries which I didn't buy tickets for".


but jokes aside, a distant in-law relative was cheated on the nigerian scam, she went to kenya/UK to "collect" her winnings after sending over thousands of dollars, she disappeared for a while then on her way back to UK before heading to SG after learning it was a scam, the african guy slipped 5kg of class A drugs in her luggage and she's serving a decade year jail sentence currently unfortunately.

so can say unlucky, but lucky caught in UK , because if caught in SG = hang.

please do not fall for scams.

I came to post a joke about nigerian scamming but then I read blueprint's post. man that's just sad, I thought people already learned there's no easy way to get rich off the internet. at least she's serving sentence in a UK prison, not some backwards african nation.

on an unrelated note, has anyone watched Futurama: Bender's Big Score? scam the scammers!

dir & KeDraiv : unfortunately no . I was "specially asked" to "access" her "email" and msn history logs to retrieve the entire conversation and happenings. it's very sad how the guy really conned her.

indeed, for us common sense guys know it's just a scam. but for her , because she's sorta on the "obese" side. never had bf etc. and nigerian got her money/life through girl's weakpoint : romance/heart/love. saying sweet nothings meant the world to her. so scammers won't just rely on bots to send spam/cons etc. but they'll also use what I and others call "Social Hacking" , to get you to do their dirty job, thinking it's the right thing to do.


pls be careful and pass it on to your friends.
