I trapped a lizard!!!

Yan bro my thai friend wants to buy tht lizard frm u. For a delicacy (according to him) like tht costs ard 1.25 USD bt he say you look like nice guy so he offer to pay best profitable price - 1.50 USD.

I guess so..itz something like..urghh...i dont wanna say this...human baby dishes. They can cost high. Bt back in thailand i think the insects cost ard a mere few cents ey? Nt reli sure..

OMG Sofyan.....that pic is freaky deaky 8O

Although I don't like lizards very much, I heard that this sort of "lizard trap" is a bit inhumane....the lizard (or whatever poor unsuspecting creature) walks across it, gets stuck to the super sticky surface and either starves to death there or struggles to get free, therefore ripping off it's skin or stomach....

Umm, and in Thailand we don't eat lizards and bugs as "delicacies"..... (yes, I'm from Thailand)....although I admit bugs like grasshoppers and wood grubs are available in some places - however, this trend only sparked off cos the tribes/ village people (the real ones - not the flamboyant band....) were unable to afford any other form of real nutrition and had to settle for whatever they could get..........then the crazy tourists decided to give it a try, feature it on Fear Factor and brand it as an exotic Asian cuisine.....sheesh.....

No the lizards part aint frm thailand my thai friend is just one heck of a bizzare eatery enthusiast hahah. Itz just based at tht much price in the list. Oh..tourist r spoilers i tell ya!

It may have starved to death there but I've seen any skin ripping before. that scary hehe.but I need to get rid of the lizards in my houseee, if theres any other way besides trappin them do tell me. :)

lol..your house have that many lizards? yeah take a pic of it..after few more weeks..lets see how it progress hee.

buy a dog? my gf jack russell actually eats lizard @.@

Hmm....I usually let my cats catch the lizards in my house and then they eat them.... haha....umm....ok, so is that less "inhumane"?
Ah well....part of the food chain I suppose....

of course insecticides dont kill lizards immediately like they do mosquitoes or roaches, but insecticides can kill a lizard... but will only kill em slowly.... a slow, agonizing and painful death. very cruel actually :(
