I left a bass guitar in a taxi

Left my '57 CIJ Pbass in a cab once... made a police report, called the taxi co. etc but never got it back. All the best for your bass :)

Ok I managed to wring a photo from her. Note the Winnie the pooh stickers, the one of the centre knob has fallen off already. So it's just the top and bottom knob and the last fret marker. She's trying very hard not to throw a molotov at me.

Lol, is this girl someone important to you?

My advice to you, and everyone, would be to keep an eye on the bass trade market, and note when such a bass pops up. Besides the stickers, are there any defining marks on the guitar? Because if the taxi driver tries to sell the bass, he'll most likely take the stickers off.

Will pray hard for you that you find the guitar back, haha.

I'm can't think of any defining marks damn. The girl important to me? As a friend yea, nothing more, I see her in the same light as my male friends anyway.

Damn man :( I can only wish you luck..

I once left my pedalboard in the boot of a cab.. Reported it everywhere possible.
Im sure my cab driver is richer by a couple hundred dollars by now X(

Hmm, then another possible way could be to monitor the market for someone who doesn't really know what he's selling. If he's a cab driver, chances are he knows nuts about bass guitars. So if somebody pops up offering a "brown nice shiny four-string guitar", keep an eye on him...

whoa this is bad.. will keep an eye on it

do report this incident again in the morning, just in case that the information is passed down accurately in the cab company

cab drivers are so full of shit these days.

I'd freaking bash his head in if he pulled off such a stunt to me. Not to mention a long nasty letter, email and a formal complaint to the related cab company and a forum letter to The Straits Times.

Morgan, no worries will help you out on this one :D
