Right. Praying to 'The force' then. I'd like to see real 'Force work' before I'll believe in something like this. I'd also like to see a lightsaber, and I'll want to see the blade cut through a concrete wall. It's a series of fictional movies for goodness sake... There wasn't even any Earth in the movies. I guess what you're seeing is the extreme side of being a fan.

Actually what I read a while back was a lot of people started registering their religion as Jedi as a protest against UK laws which state that they need to give their religion in forms litheir job applications etc which they felt was irrelevant and can be used to discriminate against them.
So in the end it caught on and the number was big enough to be recognized as an official religion.
