Humming noise from mixer

I recently got a mixer - Delta Audio M82 and I'm trying to connect to my audio interface a Lexicon Alpha, however every time i connect the main out from the mixer using 1/4 " cables to the left and right of the interface my speakers will result in a humming noise which messes up the audio.

However the moment i disconnect the mixer, the audio is back to normal.

Perhaps the mixer isn't grounded?
And try using balanced cables from your mixer out.
