i feel the hummbucker from hell is a humbucker trying to be a single coil p/u. but depends where u wan to use it. in the neck position, it sounds clear, clean and warm. but in the bridge, its too bright, more like a tele sound.

the p/u is actually bright but not thin. maybe its due to having the humbkr config with two polepieces. if you wan to have a nice bright warm neck p/u this one is good. not good for the bridge tho...

No. You'd be better off using a true single coil if that's the tone you're after.

It will fit into strats if you got space for a humbucker. A full size humbucker.
