Humbucker Cover/Round Rear Cap For les paul

hey guys, anyone knows where to get the metal humbucker cover for les paul ?

as well as the round rear cap.. any rough estimate of pricing?

metal covers should be about 20 bucks each excluding waxing. I am not sure what round thing you are talking about. Davis should sell the parts and service, actually most decent guitar shops should have

Its recommended to wax-pot your humbucker if you get the covers. Such services don't come cheap either.

I know KC doesn't do wax-potting of pickups, cause I've asked before. You could try your luck on other luthiers.

regarding waxing of pickups. i recall there used to be a thread about how to wax your own pickups. doesn't look too hard, but acquiring of the materials might be. =x

IF you go to GC (which many people do not) he can do it for you for like 100 bucks (i forgot whether it was 2 pickups or 1 pickup.

i think not worth it, get plastic covers from TYMC instead

the venerable TYMC shop is located at the basement of excelsior shopping center. Go to the legendary funan the IT mall, exit from the exit facing fort canning park, find the little antique shop or posh golf shop and take the escalator down next to it, walk a few humble steps and there seekers will find the venerable TYMC shop.

alternatively, head down to Davis, ask them where guitar connection is and piss them off, then head to GC and piss the boss off by asking where TYMC is (right across the floor) and commenting that you are going to TYMC cause he overprices everything.

in either case i don't think you can miss it
