anyway i feel that $58 is still abit expensive for a malaysia band, maybe i just k po to share abt my feel. cos i wont gg for the show b cos hujan is not my cup mof tea, after all i wish the org make this show a great turn up.
Whats wrong with people? Talk so much negative about the show, then say not their kind of music then go wish organizers all the best? Its like I give you a punch in the stomach then say sorry.

Best is always end by saying go Malaysia watch or better if show is for free; no wonder organizers here always have a hard time.

True, it's not easy to be an organizer. We cant just please everybody. And it's not cheap too.. People usually just look at the ticket price, but they don't look at other production costs like rental for venue, artist fees, their lodging, transport, flight, equipment rentals, salaries for staffs and crew, advertising cost, promotion costs, ticketing costs etc etc etc.. and worse still if no sponsors.

Tatz y most organizers give up! Not worth the effort. Sillyporeans being what we are will lovelovelovelovelove about everything but dun realize they r the reason for tiz sad state of affairs.

1) Organize a fest... say Baybeats free so dun want to pay
2) Bring some overseas band down... say tix too expensive
3) Same band play in Malaysia... say Spore tix too expensive
4) Band playing not their fren... say boycott

fricking shit list goes on and on..... anywayz all the best 4 yah show!

Its a good thing that the organizer listen to our advises, the 90bucks VIP thing.
Great.

And a good thing RIA 89.7 is part of this event too.

Firstly the crowd here, prefer Free shows , its a fact.
Secondly , the price of the tickets matters. And the price must be worth it.
Thirdly , Standing tickets will be the best, as we hate to seat when watching a rock gig/concert.

Speaking for the crowds or 'Sillyporeans' , im sure theres many fans for Hujan here in Singapore. But seated events, is not a wise thing for shows like Hujan. As we are not watching a musical/classical orchestra.

I do agree about the seating thingy, however, it's the rules metted out by RP that they dun allow any free standings. But u and me, we all know that ppl would end up standing :)

I've been to seated rock concerts and thru out the whole gig my butt didnt even touch the cushioned seat.

Nevertheless, We take this as a learning point, for future such events. Thanks bro :D

No worries bro.

Yeah, i been to seated concerts. But sad thing is, people paid for the cheaper tickets can go to the one nearer the stage. lOL!

Bro u hit the nail on the head! Nuff said on our sorry state of affairs.

Unfortunately "free" also means not paying for the band's CD but trying to download from the net.

"Free" also means "I support your band" and since I'm your "supporter" then I can go watch you play for free + throw in a free CD for me please.

Shows in Malaysia will always be cheaper than Singapore due to their lower standard of living. Thats why I don't like it when people compare ticket prices.

As a promoter of local music you all the more should understand this.

I was told by Muzika Records that tickets are selling fast and furious! So hurry down before they r sold out.

p.s- There wont be any door tickets. Fyi

bagus sangat ke hujan ni?

Bagus ke tidak, let their fans decide. Maybe they are, maybe they are not. But having won 2 awards in Anugerah Industri Muzik, I believe they are, or maybe a seasonal thing, or maybe for good. Nobody knows. That's my personal opinion.

Hujan just updated that they will be playing a special set. It's gonna be a surprise? Let's wait and see..
Anyway, tickets are still available at Muzika records Joo chiat.

And there will be a press conference on 6th Oct at an undisclosed location.. only for media and press.. just fyi :)
