ur time needs to be firmer man. ur hitting the 1 but inbetween the 1 to the 4n, its alittle touch and go.
u need to tighter up and little and clean up the sound abit and then u'll be fine.

Thanx Blurred. It seems to be the same problem for me for funk. So I compensate by increasing the overall strength of my hits and try add in some louder accented hits.

Hey Cajun- no man I havent had a single music lesson in my whole life. except when I had a tutorial day once at a piano school, and once at at a choir but I got kicked from choir for messing around too much on stage and screwing everyone up by making them think we are at a chorus when we are at a verse. hehehee.
