How would it sound if...

1)I replace my active p/j pups with an active EMG P style pup and an active EMG MM style pup near the bridge

2)I replace my active p/j pups with an active EMG P style pup and two active EMG jass style pups near the bridge(like the warwick vamp)

3)I replace my active p/j pups with TWO active EMG P style pups; one near neck one near bridge

If you want a more trad sound, do p/j. If you want something different, do p/mm. Unless you know & love the EMG sound, I suggest you look at other brands of pups... I have a very good one I could recommend to you if you want to know

im not so sure about j/mm, cos i always wanted to keep the punch that a p pickup has. like if i wanted i could just turn down the mm pickup and get the p pickup sound
