How/where to learn guitar ?

Im trying to pick up guitaring, but by myself looking at the internet and trying to play is not enough, guess i need someone to show me the learning steps.

Do you have any nice method for beginners to start (like how you started yourself) or any nice institution/teacher to recommend ?
