How to transfer MD recording to computer?

I have a minidisc which I wish to transfer to my Mac. Any idea how to go about doing this????

there is no way to transfer the recording from your MD to the Mac directly. 2 main reasons, because Sonicstage is not supported in Mac OS and there is a protection feature in MDs not to allow the transfer of recordings to another machine (regardless of PC or Mac).

So, the solution is - connect your MD to an interface that has accepts audio input then play the MD while recording in Garageband.

MD > MD Player > Earphone output > earphone cable > your mac's soundcard mic/line input > your audio editing software/recording.
