How to make strings smooth

Just restrung my guitar with a pack of dr tite fits and used dunlop 65 string cleaner on it..the g,b and high e used to be smooth now their not..anyone know how to make them smooth again?

Try fast fret. You cn get em at swee lee. Its a little oily though...

i also use the dunlop 65. like no use. thinking of changing to other brand.

I have fast fret too. But it's now rusty so I dont think I can put it on the strings..

Haha, you should try fast fret, it makes it feel really slidy and smooth. A suggestion to make the fast fret 'new' again, just cut off the rusty layer. Tried it once Hope that helped.

fast fret is a drug... pretty addictive.. use on strings to make it really smooth, but do let it dry first or else it will just end up on your fingers.

i use it on my guitar neck too. really fast and easy sliding here and there lol

Had to let it dry? Tried it before but didnt dry it...

the thing about fast fret is that it makes the fingerboard rather oily even after wiping it off the strings. what I would do is just wipe the strings down with a cloth and remove as much rust as possible. it does help, only a little. anyway, I've no issues with doing that
