hi can anyone help me to make a electric guitar sound like an accoustic guitar ? using multi effects ? no need to sound exactly like one just sound close can already. thanks thanks so much

seriously, if you really dig the acoustic sound, the best way to make electric guitar to sound like acoustic is... to sell the electric and buy the a proper acoustic.

then we will see a new question: how to make an acoustic sound like an electric?

you can either install a piezo system in your electric guitar.. or get an acoustic simulator.. easier save all that money to get a very good acoustic guitar :D

i think he justs wants to have a usable acoustic sound from his electric, thats all. theres a acoustic sim pedal on luthermusic.com, the behringer one. cheap i think (need to check)

HAHA just dig a big big big hole in your guitar.. zzzzz

But the boys are right, some effects give good acoustic simulation. Of course, you will want to use a middle pickup for that use, if not it might sound too bassy or treble as compared to other positions.. then again, that's for my axe, dunnoe about the rest.

But one thing is for sure, no matter what... your simulated sound won't beat the natural, acoustic guitar.

on my fren's EG-112,i adjust the mid pickup v.2 low to get an acoustic sound..apart from tt,i also turn the vol. knob on the guitar up(MUST!!!) n the tone knob down(like, from 10->7...) n i increase the bass n decrease the treble on the amp(dean markey bass amp..haha)

btw right,i've seen a pic of slash using a double-neck,1 neck acoustic, the other electric...i think it's damn useful...
