How to ground a 2 Pin Plug

Hi Softies,

I have an amp that comes with a 2 pin plug (the type F plug also called a Schuko plug)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schuko

The problem I noticed is that these plugs are not grounded when using an adaptor to plug into our 3 pin wall sockets. As I've read it's dangerous to use it without the ground connected.

Is it possible to re-wire this to our 3 pin plug to ground it? Or, can I simply get a 3 pin plug cable and plug it in to ground the amp?

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm more in favour of re-wiring but i need some help for the re-wiring.

Are there 3 wires (live, neutral, ground) that come with this 2 pin plug? Cause I dun wanna end up cutting the head and realising that the ground wire is missing?

Just one LAST question:
I noticed that the power cable for my amp and my computer has the same connector. Any idea if I can connect my computer power cable to my amp and get grounding from there?

Yes you may use them. I did use for my amp.
