how to counterbalance a heavy LP?

of all the Les Pauls i've owned I've never had any Neck Diving problems with ANY of them, Using Nylon straps as well..

Maybe have it worn too high or something. 2 years ago i never bought any "StrapLocks" or Leather Straps and I've never had problems with Les Pauls from Epiphone, Gibson, Burny, TGM, J&D, SX...

heh +1 to leather straps. but they'll grow mouldy(eeew)

heh one of the reasons why i picked a sg over a lp. lp's are sooooooooo damn heavy!

me too, why i chose strat over lp.
playability is still a huger issue than tone to me for now, since i get good tones out of strats too..
maybe in future then i'll explore the smooth thick creamy tone of the LPs...
