How often change your string?

I change when my strings when they break till they cannot break. Haha.. I got a floyd and it usually breaks at the bridge, so I just take the stump out and reuse the string. Once there is not enough string material to secure the string on the post I will buy a new set. That was when I was on .009. Since I changed to .010 they have not broken yet, touch wood. I'm currently using black diamond black coated strings, and I polish my strings with DR string cleaner. This way I can use a set of strings for months, always sounding good, always brand new. Only gripe about BD is that they flake, but when the string tarnishes it still looks kinda black, so it doesn't make a difference to me haha :D

i change my strings every week. i use d'addario 11s.

mainly change it bec i either break the 1st or 2nd strings or the strings dull so it starts to sound bad.

ever 1 week plus....the most 2 and a half...now i in the midst of switching from DR to esp strings...i prefer the more rubbery feel ahaha...

i've been using d'addario or ghs boomers.
guys, how much is Elixirs? i would like to give it a try.
sure or not can last one year without rusting or breaking?

its all marketing hype.

all strings will dull and break within a week to a month and imho, elixir strings last marginally longer only.

definitely no strings will last a year.

before every gig or session, I'll change... sometimes, I could not and I cheat by using autosol to clean the unwound strings... I know autosol is an abrasive but it seems to work well as a quick-fix! :D My fingers are so acidic,,, strings become black very quickly.. so money I spend on strings is very high...
