how much is a new POD XT Live

Hi guys, my bandmate is interested in getting a POD XT Live.Any idea how much it is after discount?

Why get the XTL? There's rumours filling up all the line 6 forums about a whole line of new line 6 products coming out in the next couple of months or so? Rumours have it that the next Pod is going to called X3.

There isn't any hardcases for the xtl... Got to get one custom made...
The price depends on the material of the case, a wood one will cost around SGD50~100, while a full blown custom flightcase can cost up to SGD200++.

think may want to make a wood one, no need for flight case cos i haven't reached that level of pro-ness.

Hard cases look super cool , especially the flight cases but the pod is already so heavy, to keep carrying it to gigs with a hard case is killer. for the past few months i've been taking my pod XTL to gigs and stuff on its own :lol: without any case, just carried it with the metal bar which can be used as a handle.

Well, if you want a hardcase, find someone that does this sort of things, you can ask some shops that sells PA systems, they often need to custom make flightcases for their equipment.

Hardcase isn't a good idea if you can't carry heavy stuff. Especially when you need to walk alot to your performance venue.

Another solution is the Gator GK-2110 keyboard gigbag, fits the xtl snuggly. And the best part is it cost less than SGD40, while the original Line 6 xtl gig bag cost around SGD90. Here's a link:

alternatively, you can buy a Westfield pedal bag, which fits the POD XT Live snugly, for only SGD$ 35 at Esden Trading, 3rd floor, Sim Lim Square.

its well padded and comes with a carrying strap and accesorries pouch.

My bandmates and i used it for 2 years with a POD XT Live and it works well.

alright thanks a lot i'll go check it out.

i need to look for cables with L-shape quarter jets also...my normal cables are spoiling because when i plug it into the back of the XTL and push it near the wall the cables start to bend.

so far i've seen the planet waves one with circuit breaker, the cable quality looks good but the circuit breaker button is on the L-shaped end which i intend to plug into the XTL...defeats the purpose...gonna try and find others...

Try the Planey Waves' Classic Series, which doesn't have the circuit breaker.

the classic series look a bit flimsy...but guess i'll look around some more. if you guys see anything tell me. don't really have time to look around much these days and my current cables look like they're going to tear at the joint. thanks!
