How many of you wish music...

With Radiohead's release of their album over the internet and the declining sale of CDs. It is interesting to see if the choice to choose what we wanna hear goes back to the consumer and not controlled by the media big wigs. Probably then, ,more interesting stuff will turn up in the music scene.

dont think im keen to looking into the future too far where robots will replace musicians and leave many jobless.

music was at its best before there was MTV.... in other words, MTV destroyed the world.

no , MTV did NOT destroy the world of music. That is only ur opinion la.. Some ppl do like the stuff on MTV, one example would be me haha. Alica keys !!!!

I think people who knows nuts about music shouldn't comment excessively. But i totally agree that music has reached it's creative peaks in the 80s to 90s.

i love the different eras for different reasons.....

70s - Psychedelic and birth of progressive -eg, deep purple, led zeppelin, sabbath, etc

80s- the golden era for hot guitar axe wielding pyrotechnics! van halen, kee marcello and john norum from europe, vai, + birth of thrash like Metallica!

90s- more stoner and modern rock stuff. grungy stuff too like nirvana. queens of the stone age

Music of today- hmm no comments. pop-rock oriented i guess if you talk about the mainstream? emo too....as if people cant quit labeling already.....

Ask me to pick my favourite.......its a tough one......but i guess it has to be the 80s....no surprise that im a guitar player :D
