How long have u been playing an instrument?

For me 6 years of recorder ( pri sch heh) 1 year acoustic guitar 1 year electric guitar :mrgreen:

6 years recorder (Stupid primary school music lesson), 5 years acoustic guitar, 4 years classical guitar, 4 years electric guitar, 2 years bass guitar + some random noodling with my keyboard from time to time

Originally learnt piano at a young age but somehow it didn't fit. Played acoustic guitar for around seven years as of now, and electric guitar for about two and a half years. Played drums for about two years, but stopped some time back. Picking it up again soon though! Bass guitar... Been playing for quite awhile but I don't have my own bass so I'm still very limited in my bass abilities.

haha all the recorder people! me too!

6 years recorder (pri sch)
4 years clarinet (sec sch, CCA)
1 year of drums (went for lessons then stopped, still play occasionally for fun)
1 year of bass guitar (well i still play it from time to time)
5 years of electric guitar, acoustic guitar, classical guitar. (and this will go on for forever and ever woohoo!)

i cant play the piano :/ and i dont have keyboard to fiddle around with.

imagine if we all took learning the recorder seriously for 6 years...

First gig with real band The Shades in 1985

First pro nights a week gig in 1990

Switch over to electric guitar in 1985.
Stop playing and sold all my axes, amp and pedals in 1995.
Start playing again 2004 till now....

organ - 1 year. ok was just noodling. now only know mary had a little lamb.
