How long did you guys play before jamming at studios?

hmmm i learn some of my stuffs from justin sandercoe. just type his name out and you'll see tonnes of vids. his key vids that i find worth looking through are the beginner vids. he gives some very important tips on the basics that i find helped me tremendously

I think the drum is too soft, which usually doesn't happen. In fact, drums usually overwhelm other instruments

This guy is like my wikipedia, he gives you a brief explanation of what he gives and then examples to practice on for the next few days... worth watching his vids even if its out of your scope (say you dont play jazz or you dont play bossa nova)
