How fast (or slowly) does a guitar/amp depreciate?

Stuff like computer and handphones depreciate pretty fast because there are faster and overall better model coming out every now and then.

How fast then, does guitar/amp/related gears depreciate? Since i find that the advancements in these area can't be that fast, they don't depreciate a lot so long it's in good condition, or am i wrong?

Or are there some cases where it'll appreciate? Like i know there are those so called "seasoned" guitars which usually sells for 5 digits or more.

All depends on the demand. The price for used instruments are consistent as there is always a demand.

Over the many years that I've been buying and selling, prices are pretty consistent. Just that gears get more abused as the years go by.
