How do I record my edrums with my laptop?

So I have a laptop, and Roland's HD-1. How do I record my drums using my laptop? I don't have a monitor(speaker) for my drums so I need to plug it into my laptop.

you can plug in ur hd-1's line-out jack (meant for the monitor) to your laptop's line-in using a 3.5mm audio cable. then use some software like goldwave or audacity to record the audio.
