How did you decide what instrument to learn?

i chose to swtich from guitar to bass because that time i believed that i will never ever be able to shred,and when i play bass,i thought there's no such thing as shredding on bass...untill my friend introduce billy sheehan to me :lol:

Learn guitar coz if u can play guitar u can play bass too but if u learn bass u can't play guitar..............UNderstand wat i mean :wink:

Choose guitar cause thats what my heroes were playing.

I find guitar easier to play than bass. Played guitar better after learning to play bass.

bass is more technical...still playing the bass....
man the difficult part of guitar is to slap pop a guitar...
i saw the guy who works for ranking music did that...

same here..

played drums for one year..den decided that i sucked..and got no space for a drumset..so played bass instead..


but starting out with drums have given me an edge in terms of timing..

i find that pickin up bass is easier cos my sense of timing is somewhat there..



after bass i went to guitar it was even simpler..cos i can feel the groove of the bass. :lol:


wads next? i dunno..been wanting to learn to play the cello.
